The mastermind behind the project, Eddie Risdal, and myself would like to put you in contribution in finding a NAME FOR THE PROJECT.
The remixes include these songs : Autan Noir (Glacia) , Silvery Night (The New Earth), Glacia (Glacia), Burial Mound (Doppelgänger), Silver Rope (Doppelgänger), Shallow Blackout (Doppelgänger), Wounded Asylum (The New Earth), Le temps d'un Voyage (Glacia)
The WINNER will receive a free signed copy of the release and will be mentionned in the credits.
We already have an idea in mind for it, but let's see if you find a better one. The deadline for the participation is Sunday 11th, midnight.
The song is the "2011" version of Ethereal Fire. I re-recorded, remixed and remastered it for the Kalpamantra compilation "Chenrezig".
The original version appears on the first album Doppelgänger.

Welcome to the new Aythis Website.
It seems I have plenty of news for you...
First, I signed a deal with the label Twilight Records to release my new album. Twilight Records is a great independant label oriented to Gothic, Electro, Dark Folk, Dark Ambient, Medieval, EBM and other dark sounds.
Secondly, the new album is finally ready. It is called THE NEW EARTH. This new album melt many influences and results in a blend of ethereal, neoclassical, neofolk rythmed by bombastic drums.
Glimpses to bleak landscapes swirl in this journey through a labyrinth of emotions where acoustic guitars meet depressive keyboards and paint the last days of a collapsing world.
I'm very satisfied with this upcoming new release and I can now announce you the release date: 30th June 2011.

The song Ethereal Fire that appears on Aythis' debut album Doppelgänger has been re-recorded, remixed and remastered.
This revisited version is now named Deep Martyr Skies [Ethereal Fire] and appears on the Kalpamantra compilation 'Chenrezig'.

Are you guys into black metal? If yes, here is a surprise for you:
Eddie Risdal (V:28, Ancestral Legacy, Legacy of Emptiness) made a black metal version of Aythis' song Glacia. I personnally love it, so I hope you will too.
There might be more Risdal/Aythis collaborations in the future so if you enjoy this, i suggest you to stay tuned.
So here is a little gift for you guys : I uploaded on Aythis MySpace's page a remix of the song "Le Temps d'un Voyage". (The original song features on the album "Glacia")
The remix, as well as the additional instruments, have been performed and recorded by Eddie Risdal (Eddie is member of the Norwegian bands "V:28" and "Ancestral Legacy" - check the 'Links' section)

The masterisation of Doppelgänger was made by Maor Appelbaum, sound engineer who has worked with well known bands such as Death In June, Ancient Rites, Apoptigma-Berzerk, Samael and many others. The Aythis' promo CD is now ready to be sent out to labels!
